This product is not available for purchase by the general public
What it is
Healite II is a medical grade LED (light-emitting diode) low-level light therapy device. It delivers specific wavelengths of light to the skin without heat or physical trauma, to support the skin’s natural cellular processes.
Different wavelengths are used for different purposes: 830nm near-infrared light for skin healing and musculoskeletal pain, and blue light (415nm) to help with acne.
How we use it
At SK Medical Centre, Healite II is a standard, complimentary part of most of our treatments, used as aftercare following procedures to support recovery.
Sessions are quick (often around 20 to 30 minutes) with no downtime.
Possible risks and side effects
LED phototherapy is generally well tolerated. Temporary mild redness or warmth can occur. Less commonly, changes in skin pigmentation, including darkening, can occur. Eye protection is worn during treatment.
As with any treatment, suitability should be assessed, particularly for those with light-sensitive conditions or taking photosensitising medications.
