What it is
Onda Pro is a medical device that delivers microwave (Coolwaves) energy to the subcutaneous layer for localised contouring of the abdomen, waistline, upper thighs, buttocks, upper arms and submental/jawline.
It may be used to reduce localised subcutaneous fat, improve the appearance of cellulite and mild skin laxity, and define the jawline.
What to expect
It is not a weight-loss treatment. Multiple sessions are required, results develop over months and vary between patients.
Risks and side effects
Side effects commonly include redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, temporary firmness or lumpiness and altered sensation.
Less commonly, contour or texture irregularity, pigment change or blistering may occur, and rarely scarring, fat necrosis or infection.
